Shortlisted for the Rising Talent in Trade Award 2026

Jointine Products (Lincoln) Ltd Managing Director, Jane Cullen.

I’m incredibly proud (and still slightly shocked!) to share that I’ve been shortlisted for the Rising Talent in Trade Award at the 2026 International Trade Awards, hosted by the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade.

The awards celebrate businesses and individuals helping to move UK trade forward, and to be recognised amongst so many talented people in our industry is a real honour.

The final takes place on 23 June 2026 at the Palace of Westminster in London — although, honestly, simply being shortlisted already feels like a huge achievement.

Over the last few years, we’ve worked hard at Jointine to modernise the way we approach international trade, particularly around digital documentation and export processes.

Like many SMEs, we’ve experienced first-hand how complicated and time-consuming global trade can sometimes be, which is why I’ve been passionate about exploring practical digital solutions that make things easier, more efficient, and more accessible for businesses of all sizes.

As a manufacturing business based in Lincolnshire, we’re proud to show that innovation in international trade doesn’t just happen within large corporations. SMEs can lead meaningful change too.

I’d like to say a huge “thank you” to the judges and to everyone who has supported both myself and Jointine Products throughout this journey.

I’m also looking forward to meeting the other finalists next month — and would like to wish Nicola Holmes (Avon Protection) and Ian Poulter (Frontier Medical Group) the very best of luck as well.

No matter the outcome, this recognition is something I’m incredibly proud of, both personally and professionally, and it reflects the hard work and support of the fantastic team around me every day.
