Ready for Brexit?

As a business manufacturing in the UK and supplying to more than fifty countries worldwide, we have a great deal of experience in export matters and export documentation. We are certain that we have the resource and capacity to deal with whatever paperwork the Brexit divorce deal might bring about.

Where we have accountability, we have taken appropriate measures. We already hold an EORI number, we have applied for Transitional Simplified Procedures (for Imports) and we have begun to stockpile raw materials. Thereafter we intend to order new supplies well ahead of normal due dates instead of ‘just in time’.

However, we accept that there are also issues which are outside of our control. We have no say on how our Government choose to resource border control and whether there will be any delays at the Ports. We would ask you to consider ordering from us ahead of the Brexit deadline as part of your own control measures, if you have not done so already.

Also, we cannot affect the rate of duty or tariff that our Government might impose upon our goods. Although please be assured that our paper (commodity code 48119000) will be tariff free at the point of leaving the EU.
